Our Policies

Delivery Policy

We will endeavour to deliver the products to you within 3 to 10 working days of your order within India, where this is practical. However, products are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur that are outside of our control. Any dates specified for delivery are therefore approximate only. If delivery is delayed for more than 31 days, you have the right to contact us and refuse to accept the products. In these circumstances, we will refund any money paid by you for those products and any delivery charges you have been charged. However, we will not be responsible for any other losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer, if we delay in supplying or do not supply those products. MyBookShop takes orders from selected pin-codes of states of India. If due to any technical reason, an order is placed from the pin-codes where we do not deliver the products than we shall cancel the order, also if any amount is paid for such orders, we will refund the amount paid by the customer. We have the full right whether the order should be cancelled or not. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by us and accept our decision regarding the cancellation.

  • If customer does not receive the Order and Delivery status shows Delivered. Kindly inform us within 3 days from Date on which the tracking status was updated to delivered otherwise refund for the order will not be issued and, Complaint can only be raised within 3 days from the date on which the tracking status was changed to delivered.
  • Customer will be provided with the tracking information through SMS /E-mail as soon as the order is dispatched.
  • The customer is required to track the status of their order after the tracking information is provided. Track Your Order

Cancellation Policy

We will Endeavour to deliver your order as soon as possible and as soon as you place your order by our website, we will try to dispatch it within 24 to 48 working hours. In case, you would like to cancel your order, you can contact us and inform us for the same and we will cancel your order. To cancel your order please contact us at 011-42750442 / 9205412939 /

In case, we receive a cancellation notice and the order has not been processed/ dispatched by us, we shall cancel the order and refund the entire amount. We will not be able to cancel orders that have already been processed and dispatched by us. We have the full right to decide whether an order has been processed or not. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by us and accept our decision regarding the cancellation.

Although before dispatching/sending your order out for delivery, if possible our executive will call you or your phone number which/if you have given to confirm your order, and you will have the option to cancel the order at that time so we will cancel it and do not dispatch your order.

After Order is dispatched:

If the customer wants to cancel the order after the order is dispatched. The order can be cancelled upon request to us through E-mail. Refund will only be processed only after we receive the order/product back from the courier and after deducting the forward and reverse Shipping charges.
For the orders that includes free shipping, forward and reverse shipping charges will be deducted if the customer cancels the order after the order is dispatched.

 Before Order is dispatched:

If customer wants to cancel the order before the order is dispatched. The order can be cancelled upon request to us by E-mail and refund will be processed. Payment processing charges may apply.

 Customer not available at the time of delivery

  • If customer is not available at the time of delivery and after several attempts for delivery of the order the order/products/ is returned to us, Customer can raise a request for refund of the order through E-mail. The refund will be issued after the customer raise the request through E-mail and refund will be issued after deducting the forward and reverse shipping charges and payment processing fees.
  • The customer can also request to re-send the order. In that case, the customer will have to pay only the additional shipping charges for delivery of the same order. No discount shall apply on the shipping charges of the order.

Return, Refund and Exchange Policy

If it happens sometime that we may have delivered you a wrong product which you have not ordered. You can contact us by mail, phone or our website. And we will exchange the product with the correct one that you have ordered.

Please note that the following conditions are necessary for return/exchange of the product

  • The product/book should be in good condition. Used book/product will not be eligible for return.
  • If you receive a Damaged Product than it can only be replaced if you raise a replacement request through mail within 3 days from the date the product is delivered to you.
  • If product packaging is broken and damage, the return/exchange will not be possible and it will be on our complete discretion whether to provide you with exchange
  • In case, packaging of product is broken or tampered with and still we will decide to exchange your product and a small additional cost might be charged for the same.
  • Any Claims related to shortage (getting less no. of products than ordered) must be notified to our Customer Service within 3 days from the receipt of goods through E-mail, otherwise no claim will be considered.

Conditions for Return / Refund:

If customer receives the order and wants to return the order/product.

To request return/refund, customer must raise a request with us by contacting us on our email id with subject clearly mentions the order id and return/refund request. The email request for return/refund must be raised within 3 days of the date of receiving the order.

Once we confirm the customer’s request, the customer must send us the product through shipping to our warehouse address which we will mention in response to the customers email. Customer must dispatch the product within 2 working days of receiving of our return acceptance confirmation email.

 If customer does not dispatch the order/product within 2 working days of receiving the response email than the customer will not be eligible for return/refund on the order (The cost of shipping will be beared by the customer).

The customer will have to Ship/deliver the order/products undamaged and in unused condition to us on their own expense and after receiving the product, we will examine the product/products for any damages.

After confirming that the product is not damaged in any way, we will refund the payment after deducting the payment processing charges and shipping charges that we beared for sending the order/products to the customer. 

after processing the refund, It may take 5 to 7 working days to credit the amount to the customer's bank account or payment method.

International Shipping Policy

International orders are shipped under international priority services with our carriers FedEx, DHL, Aaramex etc.

The delivery time is estimated to be 10-15 business days; however, this might get extended based on customs process and may also vary depending on the destination country.

Customs, Duties, Taxes and Other Charges

Orders shipped to addresses outside of India may be subject to additional charges, taxes or fees which are determined by the local customs office of the destination country. The customer will have to bear any import duties, customs fees, taxes or other charges that may additionally be collected for when the package is delivered.

International purchasers are advised to contact their customs office for accurate duty and tax information.
